![]() I've been stressed for almost a week because of this issue. I have been using Opera GX for nearly a year now, and I don't wish to switch to another browser as it is highly customizable, and I love the features. But this isn't important as I know how to fix it, but I think this could be a factor. Ok anyway, not to mention, but I've also experienced an issue of Opera GX not loading, and instead, it only shows a completely blank screen. Now it went on full-white screen, and it began to lag tremendously again. But, it somehow fixed the issue, and I've been using it well until I rebooted my PC for several reasons. Furthermore, I was supposed to remove the "auto-update" files, but I accidentally double-clicked the auto-update file. I tried to downgrade my Opera Browser to the previous version because a helper in the Opera GX discord community suggested me to try that solution, so I did. I can try to use Opera GX only if I don't stay on the starting page for too long, but it will still eventually freeze nevertheless. For instance, I typed in random gibberish words on the search bar, the browser freezes. Also, if I try to search for something, it begins to lag and at some point, it'd completely freeze. But, if I manage to quickly switch to another tab (Like settings or any pages that isn't the starting page), I wouldn't lag until at some point it slowly starts to freeze as I hover over my bookmarks to see if my browser is lagging or not. The symptoms are, whenever I open Opera GX it begins to lag tremendously, especially when I am on the starting page. My Opera GX has been lagging since the 23rd of January. ![]() No, the search bar isn't the issue that I am lagging tremendously, I've tried to change my search engine several times which wasn't effective. And also, I've recently made the same report regarding this issue, but apparently, the issue is with the search bar. ![]()
